Have you joined my incredibly non-annoying, once-in-a-while email newsletter?
Why do you think, from a branding perspective only, that Motorola feltit necessary to put a bright neon blue light on their headset thatblinks every four seconds? The user can’t see it, so it’s obviouslydesigned for a different purpose. Perhaps to announce “HEY, I’M ADUMBASS WITH BLUETOOTH AND A STUPID HEADSET IN MY EAR! LOOK AT ME AND MYSEIZURE-INDUCING BLINKING BLUE LIGHT!!”
Or perhaps it’s for another reason. Why make it flash AFTER it’s in yourear and you can’t see it, anyway?
Anyone have any ideas? Product design guys? Brand experts? Anyone?
