Great line from my friend Jai Decker, who lives in London…
We are also, glad to report that all our friends here in Londonwere also spared the grief and misery of this event. On the bright side, some good things to come when things seem so bleak. Since all the trains were shut down, this gave us a good opportunity to meet our fellow Londoners on our long walk home. Along the streets teeming with people walking home, pubs were opening their doors for weary walkers for half price drinks, which turned into probably the largest pub-crawl in London’s history. And that is saying a great deal for London. =)
Good job, London. Way to keep your heads up!
