Have you joined my incredibly non-annoying, once-in-a-while email newsletter?
You know, there are times…
There are times when I honestly stop, look up, and go, “what the hell am I doing this for? I hate everyone. Clients don’t listen, lawyers drive me insane, no one gets it, this isn’t worth it.
There are times when I ask myself if it’s all worth it. I ask myself if momentary freedom is worth chasing clients down day after day to pay their invoices. I ask if it’s all worth it. I ask if fighting the good fight, taking the subway to a meeting in the pouring rain because I don’t work for a company that will give me a driver is worth the agony and soaking-wet shoes.
I ask if it’s worth it. Every once in a while.
But I know the answer. The answer, of course, is that it is.
It’s totally worth it. It always is. Even on days when I don’t think it is, it is.
Why?
Because I don’t want to be the one asking “what else haven’t I done?”
This commercial proves me right.
It’s always worth it.
And it’s never too late.
Ever.
Right, Mr. Hadley?
It’s always worth it.
Don’t ever forget that.
