That title is not clickbait. I seriously had the best Wagyu Beef I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve literally been all over the world.
Knowing I’m a steak guy, Snake River Farms sent me some holiday goodies, including some burgers, filets, and other fun stuff. I had the filet last night. I went in with tempered expectations, because come on, what does a US beef producer know about Wagyu?
Turns out, EVERYTHING. The steak melted in my mouth. I cooked it for a few minutes on each side in some butter – that was literally all it took. It was juicy, flavorful, and again – it melted in my mouth. I could have eaten it with no teeth. I was blown away. Truly blown away.
Let me tell you a little bit about Snake River Farms: They produce their beef within a complete system where they are involved at every step of the process. Sometimes they call this comprehensive integration “Ranch to Table.” That’s what happens when a company has 53 years of experience in the beef industry. The Ranch to Table process thrives on precision and data as much as heart and guts. It’s as focused on animal welfare as it is on taste.
It’s rare that I dedicate an entire post to one product – But my God, this was a game changer. Try it. You’ll thank me after dinner.
